User Modeling are used to generate or adapt user interfaces at runtime, to address particular user needs and preferences. It is also known as user profiles, persons or archetypes. They can be used by designers and developers for personalisation purposes and to increase the usability and accessibility of products and services. The main goal of user modeling is customization and adaptation of systems to the user’s specific needs. It can thus serve as a cheaper alternative to user testing.
