Social liberalism moves outside of classical liberalism within two ways – a consignment to redistribution along with a belief in democracy. However both are affirmations of liberalism’s attachment to political liberty, not contradictions of it. The fundamental idea is which the over-concentration of energy is itself a new threat to politics freedom. Excesses of success and poverty are usually themselves threats to freedom simply because they tend to create self-perpetuating oligarchies who buy the political system. Social liberalism is a political ideology that seeks to locate a balance between individual liberty and interpersonal justice.
