Social influence is the change in behavior that one person causes in another, intentionally as well as unintentionally, as due to the way this changed person interprets themselves in relationship towards the influencer, other people and society generally. Three areas connected with social influence are generally conformity, compliance as well as obedience. Social influence occurs when one’s emotions, opinions, or behaviors are influenced by others.
