Selective breeding is the process by which humans breed some other animals and crops for particular qualities. Typically, strains that are selectively bred are domesticated, and the breeding is normally done by an established breeder. Bred animals are often known as breeds, while bred plants are often known as varieties, cultigens, or cultivars. The offspring connected with two purebreed wildlife but of different breeds is termed a crossbreed, along with crossbred plants are called hybrids.
