Research Design is to ensure that the evidence obtained enable to effectively address the research problem logically and as unambiguously as possible. The design of a study defines the study type, like as descriptive, correlational, semi-experimental, experimental, review, meta-analytic, and sub-type e.g., descriptive-longitudinal case study, research question, hypotheses, independent and dependent variables, experimental design, and, if applicable, data collection methods and a statistical analysis plan. It is the framework that has been created to seek answers to research questions. Research Design is the “backbone” of the research protocol .
