Presentation on Convergent Plates

Presentation on Convergent Plates

General objective of this lecture is to present on Convergent Plates. In plate tectonics, a convergent boundary, also known as a destructive plate boundary (because of subduction), is an actively deforming region where two (or more) tectonic plates or fragments of the lithosphere move toward one another and collide. Examples of Convergent Boundaries. The west coast of South America is a convergent boundary between the Nazca plate and the South American plate.
