The peridynamic theory is depend on integral equations, compared with the conventional theory of procession mechanics, which is depend on partial differential equations. Since partial derivatives don’t exist on crack surfaces along with singularities, the classical equations connected with continuum mechanics can not be applied directly while such features exist in a deformation.
