Organ Donation is giving an organ or tissue to help someone who needs a transplant. Transplantable organs and tissues are removed in a surgical procedure following a determination, based on the donor’s medical and social history, of which are suitable for transplantation. Most organ and tissue donations occur after the donor has died. But some organs and tissues can be donated while the donor is alive. Organ Donation are positive there is a large gap between the numbers of registered donors compared to those awaiting organ donations on a global level.
