Neuroinformatics

Neuroinformatics stands for the intersection of neuroscience in addition to information science. Additional fields, like genomics, have demonstrated the potency of freely-distributed databases and the application of theoretical and computational designs for solving intricate problems. There are three main directions where neuroinformatics has to be applied: the development of tools and databases for management and sharing of neuroscience data at all levels of analysis, modeling neuroscience data, computational models of the nervous system and neural processes.
