Natural Monopoly is a variety of monopoly that exists caused by the high set or start-up expenses of operating a profitable business in a distinct industry. Because it can be economically sensible to obtain certain natural monopolies, governments regulate those functioning, ensuring that consumers obtain a fair deal. A natural monopoly is a monopoly in a business in which it can be most efficient for production being permanently concentrated in a single firm rather in comparison with contested competitively.
