Many founders only know how to fund their own experience and do not get to hear much of what other founders did. In Wednesday’s Extra Crunch Live, we are going to remedy this. Grafana Labs has risen over $ 75 million since it launched in 2014, according to Lightspeed venture partners and partner Gaurav Gupta, both startups in the Series A and Series B rounds. Before becoming an investor, Gupta enjoyed a rich career in product development slayers, taking positions at Elastic (where he led product management), Splunk (product VP), as well as Google, Gateway and McKenna Group. He joined Lightspeed in 2019 as a partner, primarily focusing on enterprise software. He has led investments in Impira, Blameless, Hasura and Panther and of course Grafana. He sits on the boards of the last three institutions on that list.
Dutt is the co-founder and CEO of Grafana Labs, but the fast-growing company is not his first venture into entrepreneurship. Dutt also founded and led a cloud hosting startup called Voxel, which acquired by Internap in 2012 for $30 million.
