Prime objective of this lecture is to present on Louis XIV and Versailles. Louis XIV was born in 1638 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. The young Louis felt humiliated by the arrogance of these nobles and threatened in his capital: he would remember this. This lecture briefly describe on Versailles. The Palace Gardens (Gardens of Versailles) match the grandeur and splendour of the château in every way, with literally hundreds of fountains, and a Grand Canal, which is intersected by the Petit Canal to make a cross shape, best explored by rowing boat.
