Lambertia island, unremarkably referred to as mountain devil, may be a bush of the family Proteaceae, endemic to New South Wales, Australia. The flowers hold luxuriant amounts of nectar and are pollinated by honeyeaters.It is promptly propagated by seed. Specimens of mountain devil were collected by botanists Joseph Banks.
