The phrase identity politics and movements related to it happened during the latter perhaps the 20th century. It can most notably be found in class movements, feminist movements, gay, lesbian and bisexual movements, incapacity movements, ethnic movements and post colonial movements. Identity politics is prepared to take wide debate and critique. Minority influence is a central component of identity politics.
