Hydnellum peckii is associate poisonous plant, and a member of the genus Hydnellum of the family Bankeraceae. it’s a hydnoid species, manufacturing spores on the surface of vertical spines or tooth-like projections that suspend from the face of the fruit bodies. Hydnellum peckii could be a mycorrhizal species, and forms dependent relationships with a spread of cone-bearing trees, growing on the bottom on an individual basis, scattered, or in coalesced plenty.
