On the other hand, Selection is a process of hiring employees among the shortlisted candidates and providing them a job in the organization.
They come in sequence. It means, selection begins after the completion of a recruitment process. They are equally important for effective selection and placement of employees. They are interrelated with each other and they compliment as well as the supplement each other.
Differences between recruitment and selection are as follows:
