Those who oppose vaccine mandates, or COVID vaccines in general, believe that the immunizations violate the Nuremberg Code. COVID vaccinations, they claim, are experimental, and people have been forced to take them. What is the Nuremberg Code, and what does it mean? The Nuremberg Code was a direct response to Nazi doctors’ atrocities in WWII detention camps. They conducted so-called medical experiments on persons who lacked the mental capacity to consent, which usually resulted in lifelong impairment or death.
