In integrated circuit design automation, the term “circuit design” often is the term for the step with the design cycle which usually outputs the schematics with the integrated circuit. Typically this is the step between judgement design and real design. The process of circuit design can certainly cover systems starting from complex electronic systems all the way down to the consumer transistors within an integrated circuit.
