Annual Report 2016-2017 of Muthoot Finance

It is a broadly described annual report of Muthoot Finance in the year of 2016-2017. During the financial year, Total assets of the Company stood at Rs. 307,130,718,545.65 Crore. The share capital of the Company stood at Rs. 3,994,755,490.00 Crores. The Company’s revenues grew by 18% from Rs. 4875 Crores in FY 16 to Rs. 5747 Crores in FY 17. The Company’s profit before tax rose by 46%, from Rs. 1317 Crores in FY 16 to Rs. 1921 Crores in FY 17. Muthoot Finance’s profit after tax increased by 46% at Rs. 1180 Crores in FY 17 from Rs. 810Crores in FY 16. Basic and diluted Earnings per share (EPS) increased to Rs. 29.56 in FY 17 from Rs. 20.34 in FY 16 on account of higher profits generated during the year.

The Board of Directors of the Company has during the year 2016-17 paid an interim dividend of Rs. 6/- per equity share (@60% of face value).
