Annual Report 2016-2017 of Gammon India Limited

It is a broadly described annual report of Gammon India Limited in the year of 2016-2017. During the financial year, Total assets of the Company stood at Rs. 11,807.91 Crore. The Turnover of Gammon Group during the period under review stood at Rs. 1,788.82 Crores as compared to Rs. 8072.57 Crores for the previous 18 month period ended 31^st March 2016. Profit before tax for the year stood at Rs. (818.51) Crores as against Rs. (673.11) Crores in the previous year. The Group posted a Net Loss after Tax of Rs. 1,153.77 Crores during the period ended 31^st March 2017 as against a Net Loss after Tax of Rs. 883.93 Crores during the previous 18 month period ended 31^st March 2016. For the year under review, the basic earnings per share were Rs. (29.52).

The Board of Directors of the Company has not recommended any dividend on the Equity Shares of the Company for the Financial Year ended 31^st March 2017 with a view to conserving the resources of the Company to meet the payment obligations towards the lenders.
