Annual Report 2016-2017 of Cipla Limited

It is a broadly described annual report of Cipla Limited in the year of 2016-2017. During the financial year, The Company’s revenue from operations on a consolidated basis during FY 2016-17 amounted to Rs. 14,630 Crore against Rs. 13,790 Crore in the previous year, recording a growth of 6%. EBITDA for the year stood at Rs. 2,476 Crore or ~17% of sales. The Profit after Tax for the financial year was Rs. 1,006 Crore or ~7% of sales. The subscribed and paid-up share capital of the Company as on 31^st March 2017 stood at Rs. 160.90 Crore divided into 80,45,10,074 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each.

The Board of Director has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2/- per equity share (i.e. 100%) for the FY 2016-17. The total dividend payout will amount to approximately Rs. 161 Crore (excluding dividend distribution tax) resulting in a payout of 16.50% of the standalone profit after tax of the Company.
