It is a broadly described annual report of Unique Hotel And Resorts Limited in the year of 2012. During the financial year, Operating revenue of the Company increased by 17.28% during the year 2012. Profit before tax for the year ended 31st December 2012 stood at Taka. 1,374,907,243 as against Taka. 1,319,239,118 over the same period of the year 2011 which means 4.22% increase in profit over the corresponding figures of the year 2011 has been registered. Profit after tax for the year ended 31st December 2012 stood at Taka. 1,146,505,548 as against Taka. 1,047,316,987 over the same period of the year 2011 which means 9.47% increase in profit over the corresponding figures of the year 2011 has been registered. Earnings per Share (EPS) of the Company for the year 2012 is 4.02 against 3.90 of the previous year.
As the Company has recorded a handsome profit of Taka. 1,146,505,548 during the current period the Board of Directors of the Company have recommended @25% Cash Dividend for the shareholders for the year ended 31st December 2012. These financial statements are presented in Bangladesh Taka (Taka/Tk/BDT) which is the company’s functional currency. All financial information presented in Taka has been rounded off to the nearest Taka.
