It is a broadly described annual report of Bangladesh Lamps Limited in the year of 2011. Growth in sales registered improvement over the last year amounting to Taka. 681.57 million as compared to Taka. 622.57 million in 2010, which is 9.48% higher than the previous year. Profit for the year Taka. 47,144,733. The total number of shareholders of the Company at 31st December 2011 was 2,839 as against 2,820 in the previous year. The price index of shares on that date stood at Tk. 200.00 per share at the Dhaka Stock Exchange and Tk. 195.20 per share at the Chittagong Stock Exchange.
The Board of Directors is pleased to recommend the stock dividend @ 30% for the year 2011. i.e. 30 bonus shares will be issued for every 100 shares held at the record date.
