It is a broadly described annual report of Islami Insurance Bangladesh Limited in the year of 2010. During the financial year, The Company able to earn a net pre-tax profit amounting to Taka. 4.04 core in the year 2010. The gross premium income of the Company stood at Taka. 26.86 Crore in 2010 as against Taka. 24.68 Crore in 2009. Total assets accumulated to the tune of Taka. 41.88 Crore during the year under review as against Taka. 37.17 Crore in the previous year.
The Board of Directors has recommended stock dividend at 5:1 on paid-up ordinary share capital of Tk. 15 Crores for the year ended 31st December 2010. These financial statements are presented in Bangladesh Taka (Taka/Tk/BDT) which is the company’s functional currency. All financial information presented in Taka has been rounded off to the nearest Taka.
