It is a broadly described annual report of Indian Overseas Bank in the year of 2010-2011. During the financial year, The Bank’s total business improved to Rs. 2,59,020 Crore with an excellent growth of 35.20 % over last year. The operating profit of the Bank went up from Rs. 1,845 Crore in 2009-10 to Rs. 2,861 Crore in 2010-11 with a growth of 55.08 %. The Bank’s net profit increased to Rs. 1073 Crore in 2010-11 from Rs. 707 Crore in 2009-10 with a growth rate of 51.71%.
The Board of Directors of the bank has proposed to pay a dividend of @50 % for the year 2010-11.
