It is a broadly described annual report of Indian Overseas Bank in the year of 2007-2008. During the financial year, The Bank’s total income increased to Rs. 8,776 Crore during 2007-08 from Rs. 6,219 Crore with a growth of 41.12%. The total expenses for the year 2007-08 were contained at Rs. 6,774 Crore with an increase of 45.40% as against Rs. 4,659 Crore in 2006-07. The Bank‘s operating profit increased by 28.33% from Rs. 1,560 Crore last year to Rs. 2,002 Crore. The Bank’s net profit reached a level of Rs. 1,202 Crore in March 2008 from Rs. 1,008 Crore in March 2007.
The Board of Directors of the bank has recommended a dividend for the year 2007-08 is being proposed at @32%.
