It is a broadly described annual report of IDBI Bank in the year of 2007-2008. During the financial year April 2007-March 2008, The Gross Income earned by the Bank amounted to Rs. 9656.3 Crore, comprising interest income of Rs. 8020.8 Crore and other income of Rs. 1635.5 Crore. Profit before Tax (PBT) of Rs. 822.7 Crore. After making a provision of Rs. 93.2 Crore towards taxation, Profit after Tax (PAT) amounted to Rs. 729.5 Crore. The fully paid-up capital of the Bank is Rs. 724.73 Crore comprising Rs. 72.47 Crore equity shares of Rs.10 each.
The Board of Directors of the bank has recommended a dividend at @20% on the fully paid-up equity capital for the financial year 2007-08.
