The expression advanced capitalism separates such societies on the historical previous kinds of capitalism, mercantilism and industrial capitalism, and partially overlaps while using the concepts of a new developed country, from the post-industrial age, regarding finance capitalism, regarding post-Fordism, of the particular spectacular society, regarding media culture, and of “developed”, “modern” and “complex” capitalism.
