WhatsApp, a popular program with millions of users worldwide, is working on a new update that will make user interactions more enjoyable. The popular messaging platform is now working on a new feature that will allow users to design their own stickers within the app itself, according to credible sources at WaBetaInfo. While still under development, the function promises to provide customers with a more enjoyable and tailored experience.
The upcoming version, according to WaBetaInfo, will allow users to make stickers directly within the app. It is still in development and is not yet available to beta testers.
This new update would allow users to create stickers from their images quickly. “This feature uses iOS 16 APIs to extract a subject right out of an image and then, it is automatically converted into a sticker in the app,” said WaBetaInfo.
The conversation-sharing action sheet will include the sticker tool. Users will be able to select a photo from their gallery and WhatsApp will provide them with editing options, such as the ability to remove the background.
Users will be able to use numerous editing options, including background removal, to perfect their stickers after selecting a picture from their gallery.
While the sticker creator tool will be available on both WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp Desktop, iOS users can expect more features when the feature becomes available.
These updates will allow users to express their creativity and personalize their stickers, giving a personal touch to their chats.
