Main objective of this lecture is to present on Wave Properties. Here briefly focus on Reflection: the turning back of a wave when it reaches the boundary of the medium through which it is traveling. Law of Reflection: the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection. The main properties of waves are defined below. Amplitude: the height of the wave, measured in meters. Wavelength: the distance between adjacent crests, measured in meters. Period: the time it takes for one complete wave to pass a given point, measured in seconds.
