The major aim of this article is to discuss about video surveillance recorders. Video surveillance recorders are hardware devices in accuse of management and storage of the video safety footage created by video security cameras. In this article we review types, characteristics and differences among the majority broadly used video recorders namely DVRs and NVRs.
