An interactive whiteboard is usually a touch responsive display that can be linked to a computer using a wired medium similar to USB cable or serial port, or wireless medium similar to Bluetooth. A projector linked to the computer is then used to project the computer screen on the whiteboard, which is typically mounted, and then a pointing device similar to a pen is used to control it.
