The survivorship curve is usually a graph showing the amount or proportion of individuals surviving to each age for just a given species or perhaps group (males or females). Survivorship curves is constructed for certain cohort (a number of individuals of roughly a similar age) based on the life table. You will find three generalized types of survivorship curves: Type I survivorship curves, Type II curves and Type III curves.
