Major purpose of this lecture is to present on Sound and Light. It is a tutorial based lecture. Here briefly describe Does sound travel through paper, plastic, metal, and water; Which medium does sound travel best in: air, water, or wood and Do sound waves have to have a medium to travel through. Sound waves are longitudinal waves that must pass through a medium. Echoes are reflections of sounds. Light and other forms of electromagnetic radiation travel as transverse waves.
