The main objective of this article is to indicate the period of time taking of language learner. Learning Language is a process. The main thing is language acquisition. At the very first time of learning language, many students usually look completely overwhelmed by the new language. It is most important thing for a teacher to do is to respect this quiet or silent period as a natural phase. It is the teacher’s job to provide the student with a developmentally suitable atmosphere while he or she works through this initial phase in language acquisition.
