Social stratification is constituted because of the division of a society into hierarchical layers of wealth, strength, and prestige. These kinds of layers, or strata, have been related to a number of social categories, including: Race, Class, Gender, Ethnicity, Faith etc. Religious stratification is the division of a society into hierarchical layers about the premise of religious beliefs, affiliation or faith practices.
