Refrigerated containers is an intermodal container used in intermodal freight transport that is certainly refrigerated for transportation of temp sensitive cargo. While a reefer can have an integral refrigeration device, they rely in external power, from electrical energy points at the land based site, a container dispatch. When being transported within the road on a trailer they can be powered from diesel powered generators which adhere to the container whilst on road travels.
