Radiographic Testing (RT) is a nondestructive testing (NDT) means of inspecting materials pertaining to hidden flaws with the ability of small wavelength electromagnetic rays (high energy photons) to help penetrate various products. Since the volume of radiation emerging on the opposite side with the material can become detected and measured, variations in this volume of radiation are used to determine thickness or even composition of substance.
