The minor goal of this article is to know about psychological autopsy. Whereas a medical autopsy is essentially a physical examination of the deceased, a psychological autopsy is basically a mental state examination of the deceased. This article addresses the conditions in which a psychological autopsy might be suitable, the type of information it gives and the debate surrounding its validity.
