major objective of this lecture is to present on Reflections. A reflection is a kind of transformation. It is basically a ‘flip’ of a shape over the line of reflection. Properties preserved (invariant) under a line reflection: distance (lengths of segments are the same); angle measures (remain the same); parallelism (parallel lines remain parallel); colinearity (points stay on the same lines) and midpoint (midpoints remain the same in each figure).
