Presentation on Imagist Poetry

Presentation on Imagist Poetry

The aim of this lecture is to present on Imagist Poetry. This name was given to a movement in poetry, originating in 1912 and represented by Ezra Pound, Amy Lowell, and others, aiming at clarity of expression through the use of precise visual images. Imagist Poetry is a literary movement launched by British and American poets in the early 1900s that advocated the use of free verse, common speech patterns, and clear concrete images as a reaction to Victorian sentimentalism.
