Physical model (most commonly known as a model but also in this context distinguished from the conceptual model) is a smaller or greater physical copy of object. The object being modelled could possibly be small (example, an atom) or significant (the Solar System). The geometry with the model and the object it represents in many cases are similar in the sense that one is a rescaling with the other; in such cases the scale is definitely an important characteristic.
