V and other characters in the CD Projekt Red game will be toasty this winter thanks to a recent update that adds holiday onesies to the grim RPG. The intense action of Night City may make Cyberpunk 2077 seem like a stressful open-world game to some, but there are times when you can let up on the pace a bit and relax by taking in the views of the city or going for a leisurely drive.
Of course, unwinding is not the game’s primary goal, and now that Idris Elba will be appearing in Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty DLC, there will undoubtedly be plenty of new opportunities to take part in some bloody missions. But regardless of what the player is doing right now, there’s no reason why their clothing couldn’t offer something a little cozier than what V and other characters in Night City often wear, and that’s exactly what one modder has provided.
As noted by PCGamesN, Nexus Mods user wolv2077 adds some more winter-appropriate clothing to Cyberpunk 2077’s wardrobe in the form of several onesies that appear to be quite cozy. Simply referred to as “Winter Onesies,” these appealing garments come in six different textures, some of which have a Christmas theme going on, and will be perfect for that extra bit of warmth during the colder times. Both the feminine and male versions of V, as well as an optional one for Panam, can wear these onesies. Users are advised that they may encounter some clipping or warping mistakes because they are “asset ports” only, but that shouldn’t take away too much from how snug they’ll look.
The apparel and attire in Cyberpunk 2077 are well recognized, and there is no shortage for aspiring Night City resident. It comes standard with an open-world role-playing game of this type, which provides a variety of methods for players to modify their appearance and aid in setting the tone or allowing them to blend in with the locals. Since the game doesn’t appear to include any Christmas or winter-themed outfits, wolv2077’s mod at least provides something a little different.
Even though the game’s initial 2020 release will go down as one of the worst in gaming history, developer CD Projekt Red has painstakingly attempted to repair the harm. After undergoing several revisions over the past two years, fans of Cyberpunk 2077 may now fully appreciate the RPG for what it originally set out to be.
