With a unisex scent inspired by the game’s iconic destination of Shadow Moses Island, Numskull, in conjunction with Konami, is allowing fans to “immerse themselves even further into the thrilling world of espionage and secret operations of the Metal Gear universe.”
“Taking inspiration from the game’s legendary setting, this unique cologne opens with the crisp freshness of handpicked mushrooms and forest soil and evolves to reveal a heart enriched with aromatic scents designed to take the wearer on a sensory journey, transporting them to the captivating and complex landscape of Shadow Moses Island,” Numskull says in a press release.
Only 1000 bottles of the cologne will be made, and it will only be available in the United Kingdom and a few other European nations.
This week saw the release of Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 1.
Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake are included, as well as Metal Gear Solid (which contains VR Missions/Special Missions) and the HD Collection editions of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid 5, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker references were purportedly discovered in the MGS Master Collection Volume 1 files.
According to photographs supplied by a Reddit user, the files show which game the collection should read assets from, mentioning the three titles that aren’t included.
If the allusions are genuine, they may be a simple test during development or proof that a second book would one day include the other key Metal Gear franchise titles.
