Linguistic Anthropology

Linguistic anthropology explores the way language shapes connection, forms social individuality and group membership, organizes large-scale national beliefs and ideologies, and develops perhaps the most common cultural representation of natural and sociable worlds. Linguistic anthropology is the interdisciplinary study of how language has impact on social life. It’s a branch of anthropology that comes from the endeavor to be able to document endangered languages.
