HTML is short for Hyper Text Markup Language. Primary objective of this lecture is to describe on HTML Basics (Part-1). Hypertext is simply a piece of text that works as a link. Markup Language is a way of writing layout information within documents. The language is based on an existing, international formatting standard SGML, Standard Generalized Mark-Up Language, which is used for text processing.
