Medulloblastoma is also recognized as or subsumes Primitive neuroectodermal tumor of the posterior fossa. Medulloblastoma is the most common malignant childhood brain tumor. There has been a marked development in overall survival for patients with this tumor, but a main challenge remains quality of life for survivors.
