Since fire raises and extends so quickly, the number one precedence for inhabitants is to get out securely. Use a convenient fire extinguisher when the fire is confined to a minute area, such as a wastebasket, and is not rising; everyone has exited the building; the fire section has been called or is being called; and the room is not filled with smoke.
