Middle Management consists of managers who mind specific departments for example accounting, marketing, production or sections, or who serve as project administrators in flat organizations. Middle managers are responsible for implementing the leading management’s policies along with plans and typically have two management ranges below them. Usually among the first to be slashed inside the ‘resizing’ of an organisation, middle management makes up the thickest coating of managers in the traditional organization.
