FIFA 23 Title Update 8: Fix for Ref kit Clash but no Repair for PC Cheating and Settings Fault

Title Update 8 for FIFA 23 is likely to be made available for download, but the FIFA community is upset since certain significant flaws were not addressed.

FIFA PC cheating has always been a problem, and EA Sports even added an anti-cheat system (EAAC) for FIFA 23 to attempt and reduce PC cheating. Users on consoles are beginning to experience the wrath of PC exploits with the advent of cross-play in FIFA 23, and it’s not going down well.

Prior to FIFA 23, it was allegedly possible for PC gamers to exclude rival players from matches, boost their players’ stats and abilities, and in some cases, control the rival players, according to certain claims. EA has now caused frustration among FUT players by failing to address the most recent PC hack in the most recent Title Update and by leaving a problem with users’ game settings unresolved.

With a hack that enables PC users to play with an invisible team in FIFA 23, which means their players won’t show up on screen for the opposition, the most recent PC hack appears to be the worst yet. Many players have video evidence of this PC hack, and one Twitter user, @SlaterAC_, uploaded a video of themself competing in FUT Champions versus a PC player who was utilizing this new cheat code.

After 11 minutes of play, the PC cheat has a 2-0 lead and none of their players are visible to the opposition. Other other FUT players have also experienced this problem, and many of them have expressed their dissatisfaction with EA in the Title Update 8 announcement’s comment section.

The easiest and best way to prevent encountering a PC hack when playing on a console is to switch off crossplay in FUT. It’s a shame, but it seems to be the only way to now avoid an encounter with a PC cheat and having to play an unfair game.

The most recent Title Update failed to address another problem, which causes players’ game settings to be reset each time they launch FIFA 23. The glitch was temporarily fixed when it was found back in October of last year, but many users now report that it has resurfaced. EA has failed to address what seems to be a straightforward problem.

The upcoming Title Update 8 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC did include several much-needed changes, such as a bug in FUT that would cause the color of referees’ kits to clash with players’ kits in-game.

Below, you can see a list of all the most recent changes implemented in FIFA 23 Title Update 8.
